ITIN Solutions (“we”) provides ITIN application assistance. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used. We are not the Internal Revenue Service and do not issue Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers.
Information we collect
When you apply or contact us, we collect:
- Identity details needed for Form W-7 (name, date of birth, country of birth, citizenship)
- Contact and address information
- The IRS reason you need an ITIN and the tax year involved
- Payment status and a transaction reference if you pay online
- Messages you send through the contact form
We do not ask you to upload passport images on this site. We tell you separately how to get your identification to the IRS.
How we use it
- Prepare, review, and file your ITIN application
- Contact you with next steps and any questions about your file
- Process the assistance fee
- Send you an email confirmation
Service providers
We use a small number of third-party providers to run this service, including a payment processor, an email delivery service, and hosting and database providers. They process data only on our behalf and under their own terms. Email hello@itinsolutions.com if you need the current list.
Retention
We keep application records for as long as needed to complete the engagement and meet tax-preparation recordkeeping expectations, then delete or de-identify them unless a longer period is required by law.
Your choices
Email hello@itinsolutions.com to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold, subject to legal retention duties. Do not send original identification documents by email unless we specifically request them.
Children
A parent or guardian may apply for a dependent. We do not knowingly market to children.
